Together, participants will explore Toni Morrison’s debut novel, which remains as urgent and resonant today as when it was first published. The discussion invites attendees to examine beauty standards, identity, race, belonging, and the stories we silence—or need to un-hush.
Whether you are opening the book for the very first time or returning to it, you are warmly welcome to attend.
The event will take place Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Sinclair College, 444 W. Third Street, Building 11, Room 324, Dayton, Ohio. Registration is required.
