Hosted by Cincinnati State Technical & Community College, The Citizen: Assessing, Reflecting, and Commemorating Toni Morrison’s Legacy is an in-person academic event designed to examine Morrison’s work and legacy through the theme of “The Citizen.” The program invites members of the Cincinnati State campus community and invited guests to engage in reflection and discussion centered on Morrison’s contributions to literature, culture, and civic understanding.

The event will take place on February 23, 2026, from 3:00–4:30 PM, at Cincinnati State Technical & Community College’s Clifton Campus, located at 3520 Central Parkway, Cincinnati. The program will be held in the Conference Center on the third floor of the main building.

This free event is open to adult participants and will draw from multiple works by Toni Morrison to support discussion and reflection.
