Join Columbus College of Art and Design for “The Art of Narrative: Reading Toni Morrison’s ‘Recitatif’” on November 12, 2026, from 7:00 to 8:15 PM in the Canzani Center Auditorium. Distinguished Toni Morrison scholar Dr. Marilyn Sanders Mobley will present a lecture exploring Morrison’s pivotal short story Recitatif and the art of narrative. The program supports Columbus College of Art and Design’s selection of the book edition of Recitatif, which includes an introduction by Zadie Smith, as its First-Year Common Read. This event is free and open to the public.
