Please join us at Denison University for a talk titled “Unsettling America: Race, Class, and History in Toni Morrison’s A Mercy” on Tuesday, February 24 at 4:30 in the Barney Boardroom, Barney-Davis Hall. The talk by Linda Krumholz, Professor Emerita of English and Black Studies, will focus on A Mercy, Morrison’s novel set primarily in New England in 1690, that explores and helps readers reimagine the origins of racial and economic relations and beliefs that have shaped the US.
