Celebrate the legacy of Toni Morrison by reading and discussing her novel Sula, a powerful story about friendship, identity, and community set in small-town Ohio. This in-person book discussion invites readers to come together for shared reflection and conversation around one of Morrison’s most enduring works.
The Sula Community Book Read will take place at the Lorain Public Library System’s Main Library (351 W. Sixth Street, Lorain) and includes two opportunities to participate:
- February 10, 2026, from 5:30–7:00 PM
- February 14, 2026, at 2:00-3:30 PM
Both sessions are free, open to adult participants, and part of the Beloved: Ohio Celebrates Toni Morrison statewide celebration. Community members are welcome to attend either session.
