Guests are invited to view a small exhibit on Toni Morrison’s life and works in the Ritter Library lobby at Baldwin Wallace University. After spending time with the exhibit, participants will read Morrison’s short story “Recitatif” together and then engage in a guided discussion led by Dr. Xiamara Hohman of the Department of English and Creative Writing.
This in-person program offers an opportunity for close reading, shared reflection, and conversation around one of Morrison’s most discussed and thought-provoking works.
The event will take place on September 30, 2026, from 5:30–8:00 PM, at Ritter Library, Baldwin Wallace University (57 E. Bagley Road, Berea, Ohio). The program is free and open to adult participants.
