Join Cuyahoga Community College for Read Out – Toni Morrison, a community-centered gathering celebrating the words and legacy of Toni Morrison.
Participants are invited to bring a favorite passage, line, or excerpt from Morrison’s work and read it aloud, creating a shared experience rooted in storytelling and reflection. For those who prefer not to read, the event offers an opportunity to listen, reflect, and immerse in the language and voice of one of Ohio’s most influential writers.
The program highlights the breadth of Morrison’s work, with selections drawn from novels including Beloved, The Bluest Eye, Sula, Song of Solomon, Jazz, A Mercy, and more.
The event will take place November 10, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at 2900 Community College Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio. Attendance is free and open to adult audiences.
