Zygote Press presents Ohio Celebrates Toni Morrison Guided Studio on September 13 from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM at Zygote Press in Cleveland.
Join Zygote Press for a guided studio session exploring how printmaking can embody the emotions and visual language found throughout Toni Morrison’s writing. Open to artists of all disciplines as well as anyone interested in book arts, poetry, and printmaking, participants will have the opportunity to create a handmade journal, print a quote by Morrison, and customize a zine designed to guide them through Zygote Press’s exhibition, A Clearing: Word, Image, Body. This event is pay-what-you-can and open to all experience levels.
