Lorain County Community College presents LCCC Celebrates Toni Morrison on October 14 at 6:30 PM at the Stocker Arts Center in Elyria.
The evening features a screening of the documentary Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am, which examines the life, work, and powerful themes of Nobel laureate and Lorain native Toni Morrison. A brief presentation by students from LCCC’s Mandel Humanities to Career Program and a follow-up discussion led by Gloria J. Buxton (Art in the Park Oberlin) and Cheri Campbell (Toni Morrison Reading Room) bookend the film.
The film is free and open to the college and community. (PG-13) 120 mins.
