Lit Youngstown, in partnership with the Tyler History Center and Sojourn to the Past, will host a Black Women’s History Tour on October 3, 2026. This in-person tour will highlight the cultural contributions of Black women connected to Youngstown, including Ella Fitzgerald and Toni Morrison, who visited the city as invited artists. Registration for this free tour will open in September, and advance registration will be required. Additional details will be shared closer to the event date.
