East Cleveland Public Library presents Beloved: A Film Presentation on August 6, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at 14101 Euclid Avenue in East Cleveland, Ohio. Following the library’s July discussion of Beloved, participants are invited to experience the acclaimed film adaptation together as a community. Starring Oprah Winfrey, Danny Glover, and Thandiwe Newton, the film brings Toni Morrison’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel to the screen, exploring memory, motherhood, trauma, and the enduring legacy of slavery. Due to the graphic nature of the film, this free program is open to adults ages 18 and older.
