Join the Ohio Poetry Association, in partnership with the Ohioana Library and the Toni Morrison Society, for a statewide virtual celebration of Toni Morrison’s poetry through her only published collection, Five Poems. Moderated by Dr. Dana A. Williams, the program features Farah Jasmine Griffin, Dr. Amelia Adams, and Holly Brians Ragusa as they explore Morrison’s poetic voice, literary legacy, and lasting impact on American literature. The evening concludes with an open mic, inviting participants to celebrate Morrison through poetry and shared reflection. Registration is free, and advance registration is required.
